QUINCY GUIDE TO DESTRUCTION

Below you'll find a list of abilities for both regular Quincy, and some for the Sternritter. Feel free to use them or make your own during approval process! To clarify, the ranks here are based on REISHI mastery.

Please note, these are canon techs and customs will be added at a later date!

Quincy Items

Name: Gintō
Rank: Practitioner
Description: Gintō are small liquid-filled capsules that store Reiryoku, and are used by the Quincy for spell casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.

Name: Seele Schneider
Rank: Adept
Description: The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the Reishi of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. You may have ONE in items, and must create more if you decide to start with this item. (canon)

Name: Quincy Bangle
Rank: Adept
Description: The Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in Reishi from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing Reishi.

Name: Hollow Bait
Rank: Practitioner
Description: This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts Hollows when crushed.

Name: Soul-made Silver
Rank: Master
Description: Soul-synthesized silver was used by Ryūken Ishida to construct the hidden chamber in which Uryū trains. CANNOT BE A STARTING ITEM, MUST BE GAINED IC'LY VIA STAFF.

Name: Soul-made Glass
Rank: Master
Description: Like soul-synthesized silver, soul-synthesized glass was used to construct the hidden chamber in the Karakura Hospital. CANNOT BE STARTING ITEM, MUST BE GAINED IC'LY VIA STAFF.

Quincy Techniques

Name: Hirenkyaku [flying screen step]
Rank: Novice
Description: An advanced Quincy moving technique. It allows for high- speed movements by riding on the flow of Reishi created below the user's feet.

Name: Blut [blood]
Rank: Adept
Description: By making Reishi flow directly into their blood vessels, users of this technique can drastically increase their attack and defense power to inhuman levels. However, despite the significant danger this potentially presents to one's opponents, Blut possesses one major flaw: because the independent forms of the technique for attack and defense operate using two different Reishi systems, they cannot be employed simultaneously. The acquisition of Blut depends on the blood of the Quincy. Pure-blooded Quincy are able to obtain it naturally, while mixed-blooded Quincy need to learn it through training.

Name: Ransōtengai [heavenly wild puppet suit]
Rank: Adept
Description: A high level technique which allows the user to control their body parts using strings of Reiryoku controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings made of Reishi. Using this technique, the Quincy can control their body like a marionette, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force which would impede normal movement.

Name: Letzt Stil [last style]
Rank: Master
Description: Grants the user an immense amount of power (+2 rank) for two posts, however when the ability ends, the user loses all Quincy powers.

Sternritter

Name: Kirchenlied: Sankt Zwinger [church hymn: saint]
Rank: Grandmaster
Description: This technique is the single greatest protective magic of Quincy offense and defense. By generating a number of roman numeral-inscribed constructs from the fingers of an outstretched hand, several towering columns of Reishi, shaped like the Quincy Cross, erupt upwards in a circular formation around the practitioner. Anyone who steps foot within the confines of this area will be immediately rent asunder where they stand by the "light of God"

Name: Vollständig [complete]
Rank: Grandmaster
Description: The Sternritter must reveal their wandenreich emblem in order to activate this ability. Additionally, one's Quincy: Vollständig can activate on its own when the user is surrounded by high concentrations of Reishi and does not possess full control over it. This is a replacement to letz stil, and removes the drawbacks. The user may activate this for a total of three posts, granting +2 ranks, however after three posts the user is incredibly tired and will have little stamina left to fight.

Description: Every Sternritter has a unique power relating to their letter or theme. THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE ADDED TO YOUR PROFILE, ONLY HERE AS A GUIDELINE.
