Kōseitan'i Jujutsushi NarikuseSeimitsu POWER LEVEL HERE - Shinigami BASICinformation Kōseitan'i Jujutsushi Narikuse Seimitsu; age True age unknown*; gender male; division Kidōshū; seat Dai Kidōchō Soothing, Calm, and Crystal clear. Perhaps the words best, and most often chosen when speaking of Seimitsu. Seimitsu speaks with such assurance in his voice, he is considered capable of soothing even the most agitated of people, or spirits. Often faced with the choices of both a holy man, and a warrior, Seimitsu has shown nothing but the ability to remain calm, no matter what the situation, acting without hesitation. And such is his enlightenment, he is said to be crystal clear- No stain or blemish upon his soul or personality capable of being seen. *His appearance is that of what he looked like in his twenties during life, though his true age is a point of much contention. Not even he is able to give an approximation to his age. Some venture to guess that given his role as the creator of Kidō- an art so widely known that many had learned of it- he must number in a multiple of thousands of years in age; and that his youthful appearance was a gift from the highest power for his contribution- or otherwise some form of spell cast upon himself. The Kōseitan'i clan. Long since it's conception, the Kōseitan'i clan had served the balance of the world with undying loyalty. They had almost legendary abilities throughout the ages of man, marking them as the greatest of their time. Slowly, though, they had begun to die out as time moved on. Be it a death in battle, or a natural death, the clan began to dwindle to alarming numbers. Until long, long ago the clan became nothing more than some ten family members, of which one woman was pregnant with the last hope of the clan living on. Just a month before the baby was to be born, the husband secreted away on a mission, and met his death at the hands of an enemy. Left to raise her child without a father when it was born, the woman became grief stricken. And with little more than the whispered name the child was to be given, she passed on as he was pulled from her womb. It was an omen, though, his birth from death. His clan had long since the days of old foretold of the birth of a prodigal son. For the first year of Seimitsu's life, he was cared for more than any child had been cared for in the clan. He was treated as if he were the divine ruler of the entire universe until the time came that this care would no longer continue. At the age of one, precisely on his birthday, he was taken by the elders of the clan and taken away to the ancient temples of his people. The ancient temples- holy places constructed throughout the ages of man- were where all in his clan were sent at the age of seven, to become monks befitting the age they were born in. But while all in his family had been Monks, Seimitsu was to follow another path. Without naming in the era of his birth, the path he had been born upon was that of what would in time be known as the Onmyōji. During his years as a child, Seimitsu spent his time learning everything he could about what would one day be known as Onmyōdō- what, unbeknownst to any being in existence, would come to be known as Kidō. Such was his natural talent that he quickly began surpassing his elders. By the age of six, he had already grown beyond the ancient Temples of the world- a fact that did not go unseen by unknown eyes. Grown beyond the temples, he set out to travel the world and within days was attacked by a demon of sorts. Though it was not a true demon, in the sense of the word, it was a young man who was possessed by a spirit from centuries past, a Hollow with a vendetta held against members of Seimitsu's clan. Though only six, Seimitsu and the assailant, the battle raged across the lands, and across the world. Though his knowledge was beyond his elders- Seimitsu's experience was lacking, and the battle ended in the flight of the possessed boy- and a burning desire within Seimitsu. Years passed, and Seimitsu became more then any in the clan could have expected, and through him they saw the future. Though he did not bear children, the clan came to know that they would live on in his name- in the world he would help shape. By the age of twenty-one, he had taken to his worldly wandering; divining as seen fit, vanquishing spirits as needed, instructing those capable of learning how to use the powers he used. And in his continued travels, the day came that the demon-boy returned intent on once again destroying the descendant of the one that had shamed the hollow. Seimitsu was prepared, though. Whereas before the demon had posed a challenge to the youthful Seimitsu, he held the upper hand in the rematch. With ease, he evaded every attack against him, and landed every attack he made. It was not so much that Seimitsu was stronger then this demon-boy, but rather, his skills were so finely tuned that vanquishing the demon from the boy's soul was nothing but child's play to Seimitsu. Exorcising the Hollow from the man, Seimitsu thought himself victorious- until the hollow made one final strike before being freed from the mortal plane. A final strike that marked the end of Kōseitan'i Jujutsushi Narikuse Seimitsu's life. Yet, he knew it was only a mortal death that met him in that moment. Indeed, he opened his eyes and saw before him his own body, and a slowly gathering crowd of people mourning the passing of a man so great. He did not mourn his own loss, but instead turned his back on that which was physical- for all his life, he had known that his physical life was only half of what he was meant for- and made his way to the world of Spirits. For ten years, he wandered the world of Spirits- acclimating himself to this new life, and learning to do his spells once more in his new form. In his travels, he happened upon a monolithic temple deep within a chain of mountains atop one of the highest peaks- so high that it sat nestled above even the clouds so that the light of the sun or moon always shone upon the temple. Built by his ancestors, he was greeted by many of his kinsmen and bid to call the temple home. He did so, and began to share his knowledge with all who came to it- as he once had in life. For so many years to follow his arrival, he taught, and trained, and did little else. He watched the world of spirits grow and separate into the many districts of what came to be known as the Rukongai- and though such division and the petty crimes that followed saddened him, he was proud of one thing. His knowledge and power was integral in it all... In his temple he sits waiting, watching... Byakuren Byakuren, Seimitsu's Zanpaktō, is something of an oddity. During it's creation, it refused to be forged into a true blade- instead taking on a [living form]. This form is small enough to sit upon Seimitsu's shoulder, or nestled snugly in his arms- as it is seen doing ninety nine percent of the time. While in a living manifestation form, it is capable of reshaping itself in times of battle- carrying the strength and some form of [swordlike appearance] Shikai call out phrase "Let two souls become integrated, Byakuren." Type Kidō Appearance [Image] True to the phrase used to invoke Shikai, Seimitsu and Byakuren unify. Standing at six feet, three inches tall, Seimitsu's body recomposes to a primal, almost elemental form composed of raw reiryoku. Abilities Hannyaharamitsu Perfection of Wisdom Kidō; No range; Passive Hannyaharamitsu is the first of Byakuren's Shikai abilities. As the originator of Kidō, Seimitsu has a deeper understanding of them than anyone in existence. When unified with Byakuren in his Shikai release, this understanding is made evident through this passive power boost. When utilizing Kidō numbered from one to thirty, their power is like that of a Kidō thirty levels higher (thirty-one to sixty). When utilizing Kidō numbered from thirty-one to sixty, their power is like that of a Kidō fifteen levels higher (forty-six to seventy-five). When utilizing Kidō numbered from sixty-one to eighty, their power is like that of a Kidō eight levels higher (sixty-nine to eighty-eight). Hannyaharamitsu has no effect on Kidō numbered higher than eighty. These increases to power also increase the strength needed to use them, so it is not a penalty-free ability. Yonjū Eishō Four Fold Incantation Kidō; No range; Passive A further demonstration of his deeper understanding of Kidō, Yonjū Eishō is a step above the Nijū Eishō that practiced Kidō users can utilize. Yonjū Eishō allows Seimitsu to utilize four Kidō simultaneously. Fukintō Out of Balance Kidō; Fifty meter sphere; Passive/Active Yet further demonstration of his understanding of Kidō and it's underlying principles of spiritual particles, Reiatsu, Reiryoku, and Reishi- the very foundation of all things Spiritual- Fukintō is mostly a passive sphere of influence. Those within this fifty meter sphere find it harder to gather, maintain, and manipulate said spiritual particles to the effect that it takes greater concentration and more energy use to carry through with things related to them. Indeed, it has been seen that even maintaining a Shikai or Bankai within Seimitsu's presence while he is in Shikai is increasingly difficult. Weak Quincy have seen their arrows unravel before reaching their mark- and even Hollow have seen various abilities such as Cero vanish before finding him. It is also within Seimitsu's power to focus on this sphere to increase the a fore-mentioned effects- though he is unable to utilize Kidō if choosing to focus on Fukintō, instead forced to rely on physical forms of combat. Shinshin'ichinyo Body and Mind as One Kidō; No range; Passive Perhaps the most useful of his Shikai's abilities, Shinshin'ichinyo removes all traces of Seimitsu's presence spiritually. His Reiatsu seemingly vanishes entirely, as does the gathering and release of Reiryoku. Effectively, this makes it impossible to sense him, or the power of spells he is releasing- until the spell has been released. Once launched, the power of his spells can be felt- though the sudden appearance of what could potentially be several spells has been known to overwhelm the senses. Bankai Call out "I give myself to the true source." Appearance [Image] In Bankai, Seimitsu's body is recomposed once more- standing ten feet tall (Seventeen feet, if you count the shoulder protrusions). Abilities Daihannyakyou Great Perfection of Wisdom Kidō; No range; Passive Daihannyakyou is an evolved form of the the first of Byakuren's Shikai abilities. As the originator of Kidō, Seimitsu has a deeper understanding of them than anyone in existence. When in his Bankai release, this understanding is made evident through this passive power boost. When utilizing Kidō numbered from one to thirty, their power is like that of a Kidō Fifty levels higher (fifty-one to Eighty). When utilizing Kidō numbered from thirty-one to sixty, their power is like that of a Kidō thirty levels higher (sixty-six to Ninety). When utilizing Kidō numbered from sixty-one to eighty, their power is like that of a Kidō twelve levels higher (seventy-three to ninety-two). Daihannyakyou has no effect on Kidō numbered higher than eighty. These increases to power also increase the strength needed to use them, so it is not a penalty-free ability. Jujū Eishō Ten Fold Incantation Kidō; No range; Passive An even further demonstration of his deeper understanding of Kidō, Jujū Eishō is a step above the Nijū Eishō that practiced Kidō users can utilize. Jujū Eishō allows Seimitsu to utilize Ten Kidō simultaneously. Daifukintō Greatly Out of Balance Kidō; Fifty meter sphere; Passive/Active Yet further demonstration of his understanding of Kidō and it's underlying principles of spiritual particles, Reiatsu, Reiryoku, and Reishi- the very foundation of all things Spiritual- Fukintō is mostly a passive sphere of influence. Those within this one hundred and fifty meter sphere find it harder to gather, maintain, and manipulate said spiritual particles to the effect that it takes greater concentration and more energy use to carry through with things related to them. Daishinshin'ichinyo Great Body and Mind as One Kidō; No range; Passive Perhaps the most useful of his Bankai's abilities, Daishinshin'ichinyo removes all traces of Seimitsu's presence spiritually. It can be taken a step further, however, in his Bankai form. He can project his presence anywhere he wants, any number of times he wants to, within the one hundred and fifty meter sphere of influence that Daifukintō creates. Effectively, especially when combined with Kidō, this allows him to deceive those attempting to sense him with false presence(s). Kido will be placed in post below. Hitomane Mimicry A personal Hand to Hand combat style, and the main style of Seimitsu. Hitomane is based on the style of Tai Chi, which is a Chinese martial art that features slow movements and elegant forms that evoke the feel of flowing water. Hitomane's strength is its defensive capabilities which, rather than supporting a separate set of offensive methods, are transformed into attacks and counters - defense into offense. Rather than simply stopping to deflect an attack, Hitomane's defensive maneuvers focus on control, achieved through turning an opponent's own strength against them, instead of directly harming the opponent. Hitomane is named as such because with the constant countering as its offense, and Seimitsu's natural intelligence and ability to use such intelligence in field, it often appears that Seimitsu mimics the motions and movements of his opponent. Though he prefers not to fight physically, his skills in the style of Hitomane would suggest that he is a master of the style and it's motions, though his skill against his opponent is commensurate with the opponents abilities as compared to his own.
